Thank you for choosing us as your digestive healthcare provider. To ensure that we are able to provide you with the best possible care at your upcoming visit, we encourage you to take a few simple steps prior to your first appointment with us. The Gsastroenterology Group offers an interactive, secure online portal for patients. All patients are encouraged to join our online patient portal even before their first visit. Convenient, easy to use, and unique to our practice, the patient portal allows you to view procedure and test results, update records, and even complete all of your paperwork prior to your appointment. To request access to our patient portal, please click here.
 
You will be seen by one of The Gastroenterology Group's board-certified gastroenterologists or a qualified Nurse Practitioner under the direction of a physician.
 
Office visits consultation typically involve a discussion of health concerns and review of your medical records/personal history, physical examination, and scheduling of any needed procedures or tests. Except in urgent cases, procedures will not be done on the day of your office visit, so you may eat beforehand.

The Day of Your Appointment

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled office appointment. Patients who are late to their scheduled appointments may be required to reschedule to the next available opening.

  • Insurance card
  • Photo I.D.
  • Complete list of medications/supplements that you are currently taking
  • Co-pay 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Office Appointments

Should you need to cancel your office visit, we require 24 hours notice. Patients who repeatedly miss a scheduled office visit without notice may be discharged from the practice.

Procedures

The Gastroenterology Group requires a 3 business days notice to cancel or reschedule patient procedures. Patients who have missed or canceled multiple procedures may be asked to place a $150 deposit prior to scheduling.

Insurance and Billing

We participate with most major insurance. Please contact us if you have a question about a specific insurance company. All co=pays and co-insurance will be collected prior to each office appointment. Cash, check, or credit card payments are accepted. Any remaining balance may be set up on a payment plan if needed. Insurance benefits estimates are not guaranteed. Changes may occur during your procedure which may affect your out of pocket expense. Please verify your benefits and network participation with your insurance provider.
