Our commitment

The Gastroenterology Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, and we continually work to improve the experience for every visitor.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML with clear headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link
• Color contrast that meets WCAG AA for text and interface elements
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and labels on form fields
• Support for reduced motion, so animation is never required to use the site
• An on-page accessibility menu for larger text, higher contrast, link underlines, readable spacing, and paused motion

A note on our accessibility menu

The floating accessibility menu offers reader preferences that some visitors find helpful. It is a supplement to an accessible site, not a substitute for one. The site is built to meet accessibility standards on its own.

Ongoing effort and known limitations
